Two questions about Tor

1) Will it 'anonymize' me so that I can look for whatever I want here in Kuwait? (the Kuwait gov't censors won't even let me turn the "family" filter off on metacafe).

And if the answer to 1 is 'yes', then...

2) Is there a basic step-by-step instructional for how to Tor?

I haven't even so much as laid eyes on a woman in 6 weeks. I just want to look at some nakedy pics.

At the first and last nodes (entry and exit) you will be traceable. So, unless they're looking for you, it will be hard to unwind that particular routing without either two of those nodes.

well here is tor http://www.torproject.org/download.html.en ( I would download the Tor Browser Bundle for Windows  so you have one browser that is tor only so its easier to configure )
so try it and see if you can get past your countries filter, other wise your gonna have to search on some forums how to bridge your connection to get past the filter or something
and i would also download peer guardian 2 http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/

and also get https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1999
and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722
 for the tor firefox browser and turn off your java active x and cookies on the tor firefox browser

From what I've seen as a novice user it would appear so. There might be other steps to take that could make it more secure. Ask Alex, I'm sure this is how is has never been caught feeding his sexual urges. If anyone would know it would someone like him, tech savey with an extremely outside the main stream fetish along with a strong desire not to be caught.

I'm glad you decided to look into it, Steven, even though a well-known asshole troll (who gave no advice, IIRC) criticized me for recommending you look into it (because I haven't tried it for myself.)  When I looked into it last, I passed on it because I would have used it for torrents, and I didn't want to clog up people's servers, so I stopped looking into it.  I hope it works well for you (I suspect it will.)

Brilliant. If you're worried about security, encrypt all your sensitive traffic, send it to a third party, who will then decrypt it and send it on. That third party gets to see unencrypted versions of all your traffic (as does every hop from the proxy on to the final destination), but you can trust them, because they're patriots.
