Depends on how much space you got. Real question is what kind of gun and what kind of bullet. I get the impression we're talking hollow-points, here.

For a pistol, probably a semi-auto in 9mm, with hydra-shock ammo. I wish I had a .357 revolver.

I am wondering if I should bring a carbine.

I never said it was a good idea. I don't have a plan on using any K2 this time, and I am still not decided on guns. I also said I planned on taking naps if I get tired. The things I do for money. I'm not doing it for fun. You know what sounds worse to me? Driving for three days instead of two.

I've flown more than I have driven.

But the car give me flexibility. I can take whatever fits in the car, and I can leave TX without any planning.

I don't know how long I need to be in TX. It could be anywhere from 2-8 weeks. If I knew it was only going to be 2 weeks, I would fly down.

I still need to pack, but at least I don't have to worry about missing a plane.
