Stir frying beef that's been sitting in a ginger/soy/red wine/honey marinade.
Serving with brown rice, and a Three Pea Toss. (Sugar Snap, Snow and Baby Peas)

You'll need to teach this to the 20 year-old honey-blonde Georgia peach that you're gonna take running with you, so that I'll have a well-rounded friend when I get to GA in the fall of 2012.

That fraudulent identity thing didn't really work out so well him, did it? It didn't take long for his words to out him.

Turkey Tacos and Black Bean/Mango Salad.

The turkey was amazing. Made it the grown up way, no kid-friendly kits. I skipped the standard chili powder & ground spices method, and made a "paste" of cilantro, jalapeno, chipolte, onion, garlic, etc. cooked it down in olive oil, then simmered with a little bit of broth before adding to browned meat.

That sounds tasty.  I've been perusing the Whole Foods website for recipes since the earlier discussion on it.  I've found some really good stuff, and I'm excited to get some stuff at the store later this week and start trying it.   :D

a new friend (via cubscouts) came over & deep-fried a turkey (just ate it)
i sliced up some taters, so as not to let the hot oil go to waste.....those disappeared
balsamic brussel sprouts
doctored-up stove-top stuffing
mash taters
corn
spag & meatballs/sausage
fuckin' A
lots o' wine

That'll work.  The spaghetti seems a little out of place.  For the little ones?

kinda.
the neighbors brought the skets & sauce
so there wasn't a ton of collaboration w/ the menu.
it's all good

My intended dinner of choice this evening will be pot roast with roasted potatoes and carrots (roasted separately), and some green beans...and maybe corn.  Eh fuck, maybe I'll just have the veggies for dinner and skip the beef.
