I'm done cleansing.  Beef, eel, duck eggs, beer, scotch, the works.

I made some kickass Chicken Marsala last night.

That sounds absolutely fantastic.  I can't believe I wasn't invited!

I'm having left over Chinese (I just got it last night but Whorehay likes to throw away anything I buy, so hopefully it's still there).

Snazzed up with a few blams of Louisiana Hot Sauce.
Lol! We have one thing in common at least. I usually use 3/4 Louisiana hot sauce, 1/4  ranch to dip EVERYTHING in, tacos, sandwiches, ANY meat, baked potatoes....
The stuff is just AWESOME...

Anyways, I am cooking a whole chicken right now.
I stabbed under the skin and rubbed lots of butter, cream cheese, salt, garlic powder and paprika.
I've rubbed the stuff under the skin before, but I've never actually stabbed the chicken multiple times under the skin though.. I'm hoping it will result in a nice buttery cooked chicken like those chicken wings you get at the chinese buffet. I can't for the life of me figure out how they get the actual chicken tasting so buttery...
Hope this works. If it doesn't, ah well, it was just $3

Glass pan, lots of butter and herbs of choice, maybe a little chicken broth or bullion whisked in 1/4 cup of water, makes it chickeney.  Chicken never tastes like chicken unless you make it taste like chicken.  Bake it like a cake @325 for about an hour or until its about to begin falling apart, turning often half submerged in the butter-herb-broth slop.

Then remove from the slop, and bake a little while longer on a baking rack to dry it out, uncovered.  Hit the broil for 5 min if you want little black speckles sizzled on it.  Butter = fire, so be ready to pull it out if it starts flaming.

Mix some butter herb slop into mashed potatoes.   Save some for a-jus over the chicken.  Biscuits and a green vegetable so you don't die of butter poisoning.  Baby carrots in the pan with the chicken turn out good, baked mushy in the butter.

I always use a few carrots in there, even if nobody eats 'em.  Because they're orange, and I am visually stimulated by warm colors.

Wow... that sounds awesome. Too late now for this chicken, but I'm DEFINATELY trying that next time.
Thanks!

I know.  Especially not this week.  We had an interview scheduled for Saturday morning, but the guy didn't show.   :(

Carne Asada Fries.

I miss those.  It used to be my favorite at the taco wagon back home, but we have no taco wagon here.

Carne asada fries (at least where I've eaten them)=bed of french fries + carne asada steak+lots of cheese+gucamole+sour cream. I add green chile and salsa.  Damn, now I really, REALLY want some.

I need to eat something before work.

Haha a taco wagon is just a big truck with cooking equipment inside that makes damn fine Mexican food for really cheap.

I was home for work today, so I made myself some pasta for lunch.  I went out to a bar before our company's softball game tonight and had a "spicy chicken wrap".  I was actually surprised how good it was.  It was buffalo chicken and it was fried perfectly.  Mmmmmmmmmmmm.  I accompanied it with a Guinness and a 312 (Goose Island...Chicago brewery).

Sounds like a good combo.  Buffalo wraps are usually very spicy to me, but they taste sooooooo good.  So I suffer while I'm eating it, and probably after, because most of me is actually enjoying it.
