Mine is usually canned vegetables and instant ramen.

Or canned sardines and Ramen.

Occasionally followed up by a delightful dessert of canned fruit.

Ramen rocks if you get creative.

A little hot pepper and thinned out peanut butter, and some veggies will give you the taste of Thai. Even better if you keep some condensed coconut milk around. (Cheap! 69 cents for enough to make 20 ramen meals!)

I'm making beer can chicken on the grill, being smoked with Jack Daniels barrel chips.

I've cooked up something that involves finely-shredded fat-free chicken breast mixed with crushed feta cheese mixed with mustard and other spices on hardy rye bread.  The best of Mexican, Greek, and Russian, all in one.  Served with diet coke.  Thai coffee candy for dessert.

You should get a rice cooker.  At least that way you could alternate your carbs.  If you live near a city with a Chinatown, go to it and find a market where they sell 20 Lb bags.  It's extremely cheap and super easy to make.

This.  And get some chicken.  Chicken and rice is cheap, easy, filling, and has at least some nutritional value.

fat-free chicken breast

Impossible.

It's from a top-secret Soviet government experiment to get chickens to exercise more.  I swear, I've seen one hen bench-press a watermelon!
