One guy in particular that I'm referring to bought some land in Alaska accessible only when the tide is out. He lives in a van I think. A Naturalist by trade, smart, funny, good lookin', could survive on his own in the wilderness forever. Probably doesn't really give a shit about what everyone else is doing.

There's a couple other guys like this too that I know/knew (can't say for sure.. it's weird like that). They hard to hang with. One guy's hobby was going to survivalist camps. He had all sorts of stories of endurance challenges- one being sitting naked in a swamp while the mosquitoes munched on 'em. Nicest guy ever, always calm, always reading something- rarely spoke.
