I would pay close attention to the websites and the local chatters forums related to the events.  There's a lot of storm damage - washed out little bridges and stuff like that.

So, they may be flying by the seat-of-their-ass to re-route an event, which could be beneficial, or disastrous topography.

In any case --  as always, admirable and good luck.

I'm looking at 2012, so courses should be back to normal by then. Need plenty of time to sell my little group of running 40-ish girlfriends on the location. We're flying up to Minneapolis Oct 1 for this year's running trip. I think they're going to love the real fall weather, which should make NH an easy sell.

Oh.  Its quite possible the municipalities will have uncorked their heads from their collective asses by then, and have thirty-seven eight-by-ten color glossy photos with circles and arrows (in red) with a paragraph on the back of each one.

I have a bridge out here since '07, which they've remedied by putting an orange sign in front of which says "Bridge Out".  I keep waiting for somebody important to buy a house nearby, so it can be repaired.

Do you live in a bumblefuck town?

I remember when a bridge was washed away from Monsey for a few years. If you downloaded the patch for your GPS, it would automatically reroute you.

Yeah, sorta.

Its a suburb of a bumblefuck city, which housed one of the largest crime syndicates outside of the "five boroughs".

Most of the people here have no clue.

Those sorts of projects are all racketed, and sometimes when something (as mentioned) gets "undone" or never happens, it's because of weird reasons.  That bridge could stay broken for another ten years.  Then someone will buy a piece of property nearby, and it'll suddenly get fixed.

Naturally, the property would be cheap because the bridge was a problem.

How do fighter-jets fly? Their wings don't look curved at the top at all.

IIRC, they're just there for stability and steering. A plane that size with that much jet power doesn't really need wings.

So, thrust?

Thank you Mr. Boner.

Is he gonna be ok, or should I start thinkin' about getting out the shotgun?

He is mans best friend, your most loyal companion! You need to quarantine him by himself like they did with the guy at the end of Shaun of the Dead. I am sure games of fetch and positioning him to remain your guard dog can be worked out, despite his zombification.

Yeah, I could never do the little guy in. I'll just wear some heavy duty oven mitts when we play fetch.

Im thinking there'll be plenty of ripe flesh to go around when that happens.

I hope.

I have so many lemmings running around the house I have started to take my dog out to kill and eat them. I usually stop him at 4 or so. Is this any danger?
(He kinda chomps them down whole)
