My whole body is sore and I've decided that 400 miles each direction in a straight line ain't much fun on a motorcycle.

if you're all cocked up, it wouldn't be such a straight line....then it would be fun

There's a reason bikers are fat.
I'm not even close to being considered fat by anyone's standards.  The reason I hit the gym is to gain weight.

That's what I'm saying, you have no cushioning.
But my seat is really soft.

Actually isn't wasn't the seat that was killing me, it was my shoulders and neck and upper back combined with a massive hangover from an over the top last night.

Quote
-All

This letter shall serve as my two week notice of resignation.  I will
fulfill my scheduled shift until Sunday, August 23rd, at which point I
will utilize any remaining vacation days and Personal time (if any)
across my current schedule -  After which I will remain available to
fill shifts if necessary until the expiration of the mandatory two-week
period, provided I am given 24 hours notice and all other [employees]
have refused the shift.

This fourteen day period will terminate fourteen calendar days from
today's date.  I do not wish to be contacted about COBRA health
benefits.  I would like a short summary of any accrued pension
assembled, and kept by [edit] to be mailed to an address I will
provide when I contact him via telephone at H.R.

I state for the record my resignation is voluntary, and would request my
reasons to be accepted as personal in nature.

Sincerely,
Bill Brasky

Looks like my plan is almost finished.  In about three weeks time, I will have a job transfer complete, and be driving up to Illinois to move.

Yea! for Lindsey, too.

Anyone else hitting a milestone on their earlier plans?
(Or, currently need of encouragement/pestering to get rid of a millstone that's holding them back, I suppose.)

I took two coffee mugs with the company logo that said "guest" on them, for guests, obviously.

I took my name off the dry erase board.

Other than that, nothing.  I was gonna take my favorite stapler, because we had a running joke derived from Office Space.
