This article and video have been out for a while but its very interesting.  Im sure, if revised and updated for the common soldier to use it could be something to behold. It seems to be the unfortunate circumstance where the govt can take advantage of automation/technology and its advances in science.

This looks like an older version of what G.I. Joe has planned with their idea of the Delta 6 accelerator suit. If you cant find it on this page, just google video "exoskeleton military."
