Things the Kindle has lacked that I would find useful:

1) Color
2) Basic internet browser usage
3) Touch sensitivity which allows for notation while reading
4) Fast processing (it shouldn't take more than half a second to turn the page of a book)
5) iPhone apps
6) Word processing

It's an Ereader, only with comparatively shitty battery life and hurts your eyes like an lcd instead of gently fucking your eyes in the back seat of a car like real epaper.

It's a note/netbook, only it has no keyboard and can't multitask, play flash, or utilize storage expansions through a Flash memory card of some type.
