I guess a small / turn off piece of paper / receipt that says "Bank of Bermuda" (or any other "tax haven") on it, the joke being that he's not really a "masochist" but another one of them "limousine liberals" who can afford to game the system...

It was just a random brainstorming idea, and if I had to explain it then it probably wasn't a very good one, so never mind.

I got it.  But I think people would be more familiar with Cayman Islands as a place to hide money.

The one who was formerly "Stoned" could be "Dead" - "Thanks for taking my kids' inheritance so you can kill brown people!"

I'm having a hard time coming up with anything for "Creepy".

I'm having a hard time coming up with anything for "Creepy".

"If you want to catch pedophiles, you have to speak their language!  I am an expert at impersonating a sexy eight year old in chat rooms."

"These kids and their 'sexting'!  We have to put a stop to young people sharing photos of their hot, hot bodies."

"We HAVE to outlaw homosexuality, or else everyone would want to be gay!  Right?  Right?"

Something like that?  Something porn/child porn/gay sex related?

What if he's the FCC guy? Something like "I can't define it, but I know pornography when I see it... let's have a look."

With regard to the tax haven joke. I'm just not very familiar with the subject. It may be a good joke, but it would go over my head.

I prefer not to add things, although the gun guy in a cop hat is kinda funny.

Suggestion for the smoking guy

CUSH PROFESSOR
WHY WOULD I WANT TO WORK IN THE FREE MARKET? I MAKE GOOD MONEY, A SWEET PENSION AND I CAN’T BE FIRED.

I'm thinking Love it or Leave it should move to the guy in the checkered shirt and the guy in the tie should be an actual politician. ideas? Maybe call him "Public Mandate"

I like it, except that it could read as anti-porn.  Hmmm.

Well... the original was "left winger" which I guess meant the minority of libertarians in other camp. So, I was just thinking who is the small minority of statists in the liberty camp. I couldn't think of much else that matched the picture.

The guy with the guns could be Mr. Inconsistent: "Guns don't kill people; drugs do!"  Or "Guns don't kill people; gay sex does!" Or something like that.

I saw that guy as the "Everybody oughta have to serve in the military" guy.

These are great. I would suggest moving Nanny Stater from first row fourth column to the fifth row third column. Currently, it doesn't work because the character looks like they're trying to make an appeal FOR something. I think that would be better used with the 'for the cihldren' argument: The Teacher - Raise My Salary, It's For The Children!

Fourth row, first column might be better for the elitism angle like 'too smart for freedom'... Maybe one of those political wonks/wonkette (pit of vipers) types who is obsessed with political drama and ridicules anything pro liberty.

Third Row, Third Column: Conspiracy Theorist: 9/11 Was an Inside Job!!! Why isn't government investigating this??

Second Row, Second Column could be an anti-immigration panel... that or the guy with guns: I'll be damned if I sit idly by while those immigrants invade the land of the free!!

Not sure about the guy smiling on the computer...

Is there a higher resolution copy of this??

Here's everything so far. I'm not totally happy with the Petty Tyrant, or the Freeloader... They're all open to improvement.

There's no immigration one either...

All really good suggestions.

Second panel is great. Stockholm Syndrome is effective too.

Still the same critique about nanny stater: Could be a teacher's union thing.. Teacher: 'Our' children are becoming mindless zombies because you won't raise my salary!

Be sure to update the credits/link material. :P

Ok, how about this

Nanny Stater changes to Indoctrinator: 'Our' children are becoming mindless zombies because you won't raise my salary!
Too Smart for Freedom text moves to the smoking guy.
The Petty Tyrant becomes: Working at the DMV is Great! Good pay. Sweet Pension. I can't get fired. And best of all I can punish my enemies!
And the fat guy becomes The Xenophobe

Creepy guy is the hardest one I think.

The THEOCRAT's "gawd hates faqs" line does nothing for socialists, it would be more effective if it mentioned something like Romans 13 or the "divine right of kings".

I like "Gawd hates faqs" because it can cover anyone who wants to legislate morality based on religion. Not all authoritarians are socialists.
