Don't be hating Libman, that shit is deeply disturbed.

Not deeply enough.  As you know, I've set the bar very high in that category.  I'd still like to see some mind-blowing R3 quotes to justify the nomination.

It's like the 67th Academy Awards out here - ShawShank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, Lying King, Ed Wood, Bullets Over Boardway, Nell, Heavenly Creatures, Burnt by the Fun...  The Madness of Queen Richard simply gets lost in the shuffle...

Submission Eve the Banana caller:

Too unoriginal.

Still could use some more R3 and Robin quotes to complete their nominations.

Amazingly, no politicians have been nominated yet.  Or lobbyists.  Or commiementary film-makers (I guess Michael Moore was taking a year off)...  Or incredibly lucky dorks who start a silly little socialization Web-site like I almost did circa 1997 and make billions of dollars and have a movie made about them...  That could have been me! :cry::cry:  Wait, what was I talking about?  Oh, right - the nominations remain wide-open with no specific limit to the number of nominees.

Less than one month left before the voting begins.

Three weeks to finalize nominations...

Then, two more weeks till the red carpet!

Except the Internets can't support a carpet...

Hmmm, what does this forum have that's red?

Red...  DelPaPa?  He was one good conspiracy troll, but now he's gone...

Is there any reason why it is taking you so long to do this crappy Trolly Awards thing? Just get it over with. You are already past the point where people showed an interest.

Give the award to yer jewish kin, Assange....and let's move on.

(1)  Don't over-quote.

(2)  I announced the dates from the start.  It'll give people time to think about it.  Some people round here are not very fast thinkers...

(3)  This opera house will get built, and this talentless whore will sing, whether the public wants it or not!

(4)  If Assange is a Jew, then so is Shaka Zulu and the Emperor of Japan!

(5)  Oh, I've got a new Assange quote for his nomination.  It pertains, of all things, to my obsession with Copyfree software licensing.  Believe it or not, Assange used to be associated with the NetBSD project!  The quote:

Quote
Blinkered faith in the benefits of the BSD license are misplaced, and equate to little more than ideological claptrap. I'd like to see us spending a whole lot less time going without real features due to vacuous idiology.  Every second that is spent on reinventing wheel is not spent on first time design of the rest of the car.

Now you know why I've stopped updating my "Mirroring WikiLeaks" threads (for a while)...

I forgot about the dates-- it's been so long.

Tell us again, Alex....when is the Trolly Award going to be announced? Is it May? That's too long.

I also would like to know what kind of marketing ....and PR stuff...you have been doing with the Trolly Awards. For example....Is TMZ gonna cover this?

Do you even have a website for the Trolly Awards? If you give me some money, I will make you a website.

From the first post:

Voting poll to be added April 1st.

Voting closes tax day, Apr 15th.

Winner will get +99 egoboo.

Egoboo not redeemable for cash.  All award ceremonies start small and grow every year.  In 20 or so years, we could be bigger than the Oscars!   8)

Bj. He used his mod powers to permanently erase active threads, without any explanation or saying who did what, then he erased a thread that someone had nurtured for years. All quietly and irreversibly. Then he openly confessed to the whole thing and gets demoted. The shear awesomeness of it was mind blowing. I wonder if there is even more to the story. The stuff I mention is just the stuff I figured out. I have no idea how he buried things so deeply that not even Drifter or Shaw could get them back. At the very least he is in the running.
