Please god, please let Terry Goodkind die just like Robert Jordan! They think they're like JRR Tolkien and they write ridiculously long series with idiotic plot twists to prolong the story so they can become millionaires but they just ... suck! Please god, take him from us!

Mel, who read the entire series in December for the first time, just gets angry when she watches it.

Syndication kinda means you have to stick to one shot episodes, with little congruity, so it's kinda impossible to do the story right.

I've been watching the TV show on Hulu and I've got to say that unless you're into the fantasy genre it's probably not going to interest you.  It's very cheesy in a mildly entertaining way, though.  I have heard the books are very good, though, so I'll probably get around to reading them at some point.  I'm re-reading 1984 right now, but that won't take too long.  I had planned on re-reading Les Miserables after that, but I may change that plan.

After reading some of the comments about the show, I get the feeling Legend of the Seeker is just going to make me miss the super-amazing BSG more.
