Here are some of the people listed on his promo site as planning to be there:

Jesse Ventura
Rockie Lynne
Tucker Carlson
Gary Johnson
Barry Goldwater Jr.
Sara Evans
Bruce Fein
Grover Norquist
Doug Wead
Adam Curry
Aimee Allen
Marc Scibilia
Rick Ellis
Thomas Woods

And apparently Lew Rockwell has said he is going to be speaking there.

A good reason to go.

Not.

This feels like the Million Man March. Minus 975k people.

The only one I'd want to listen to is Tom Woods. And that's if it were in, say, Pittsburgh instead.

I'm donating funds to various groups going... but, too much country music for me.  Now, if there were a Death(to gov't) Fest... say in Austin.. I'd be the first to organise a "Ronvoy"

I see it as a good opportunity to have fun meeting people.  Some (such as Ian) have asked what it is going to do.  I'm not totally sure, but the networking  seems to be worth a lot.  I hope the FSP makes a noticeable presence there.

I also hope it annoys the GOP folks having their convention.

That was actually a joke for Cynthia, since she is a black/death metal fan. They're not playing there.

Agreed.

I'm not going for the music, or for the speakers, or for the "campaign training", or for the Ron.
I'm going to talk to the other people who are pissed off enough to show up, and let them know the revolution is already well underway in NH. They can beat their heads against the brick wall in their own state, or come join the one place where we have a shot at cracking this egg open...

Are you stopping by for the Sakal/CAI BBQ on the way out?

Not sure. When & where is it?

I have to catch a plane back to NH on Tuesday evening. Time is pretty tight right now between for-pay work and the NH primary coming up Sept 9th... I can just barely swing getting out to MN.

Crap. Now it looks like I can't go after all. Sometimes my for-pay work gets in the way of my activism.

That's why I just pay other people to do my activism.

If by cocaine and hookers, you mean meat and beer, then yes.

If every FSP member followed this philosophy the FSP would sink faster than the Bismarck.

The point isn't to win an election.

No, the point is to "spread" liberty to...win an election!
