What open immigration not working out because people of a slightly different ideological make up are migrating into your groups and out voting you?
Built up a organization only to see a bunch of people overwhelm your numbers and change the direction of your organization sucks for those pushed out. The whole concept behind the FSP was to move people who are for smaller government and more personal freedom to an area in sufficient numbers to influence elections and change or maintain the pro-liberty political leanings of New Hampshire. When open immigration brings in a bunch of authoritarians who out vote you, then what? It is easy enough to remove yourself from a group which has been taken over by an opposing political affiliation. It is nearly impossible to remove yourself from your country. And before someone claims I am being racist, immigrants from any number of Caucasian nanny states can be just as undesirable politically. Should there be a political ideological test for immigrates or members to a group? Shouldn't that be a concern in the United States in general or New Hampshire specifically?
