Podcast Subscribers?

On Free Talk Live and the Liberty Conspiracy the hosts sometimes talk about their podcast statistics (how many subscribers they have and how many downloads per episode). I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to track these statistics. I am working for a non-profit that has a podcast and they are asking for my help on this, but I have no idea how to go about it and Google isn't being very helpful. All I know is that iTunes and Apple do not give you stats. If anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks!

Feedburner is a free tool from google that I would recommend or there is also the powerpress wordpress plugin http://www.blubrry.com/powerpress/
