Dollar for dollar, its probably a thing to consider, because I doubt people would be lining up to spend fifteen grand on the truck.
Not that it's not a cool truck, personally, I'd rather have the truck. But the pool of potential buyers is probably appreciably smaller of serious cash-in-hand buyers.
that's precisely my reasoning.
we're headed into winter, and 2 things are glaringly clear:
1) me & bike owner know few people are buying fair-weather vehicles in late oct.
(i've had to leave the blue truck outside in winter, cuz the barn is full (green truck, backhoe, shit), bike will fit in unfinished shop area of basement....easy-peasy (walkout w/ double doors)
2) old truck still needs some shit done to it, and the buyer's market for these is already thin......add-work culls that herd a little bit further.....
bike (low-ball trade-in value) is worth MORE than the truck, and needs nothing.
i'ma ride it round a bit, in the spring (pirate garb n' all)....shine the bitch up & put it out in front of my shop......major thorofare in/out of town = shit sells
