Sorry dude,

I try to keep left brain function to a minimum, as to prevent my stress levels skyrocketing.

Oh and dragline, maybe you should rename this thread New fuckin truck project...... AKA How to post an image in threads...... just for future reference. You can always come back to it unless Ian decides to wipe out everything again.

Its cool man, do what you will.

I deal from a stacked deck.  I show how, and then blow 'em down if they flip up the wrong card.

And they love me for it, nigga.  Love.  Me.  For.  It..

Never seen me go from Eastwood to Chris Rock.  Didja.

I'm just that good.

I don't understand the imageshack advice being posted here, cuz a couple of weeks a go, I tried to post a pic from image shack, and they are now forcing me to "sign in" or "create account" in order to get the "direct link", and I was like....FUK that!

The alternative I'm using now is to throw images onto my blog as a host for pics. Of course, I had to sign up for the blog (long time ago). But, I am not signing up with imagshack, cuz they used to offer their "direct link" without having to make an account with them, and now they don't want to, and therefore, imageshack can kiss my ass.

I ran into that as well.

But I don't feel the need, at the moment, to post pictures anonymously.  So its not a problem, and I continue to use them.

Man.  That Shaffer, haven't seen them in a while.  Can't fault a man for his tall-boy beers, and I'm sure after #1, I'd probly grab another.

But goddamn, at first glance, it gives me the icky squiggle.

Heres one for you to try, you sick fuck.

Labatts Max Ice, in 24z cans.  They are actually not too shabby.  You can gets 'em in corner marts for a buck-fitty.  I'm seriously considering a run to the case place, to ask if they can get me a couple cases.  (I'm tight with the beer store owner, as you'd probably guess).

Problem is, its not a good idea for me to have a case of 24z beers in the house, at 7.1% APV.

So, I buy three cans.  Pretty good deal, and nobody gets damaged.

In other news, the chili looks right on.  And firepits are always cool.

be good ''camping'' brew.
i'll hafta try it, seein as how the ol' lady frowns on my bringing a bottle o' sippin' bourbon along on such occassions any more.

as for the chili-fire,  i usually go all grizzly adams w/ the wooden tripod assembly , but in this case, i was lazy.

I was wondering why the wire handle was just lying there like a flaccid cock.
Do you watch your cast iron like a hawk when the women folk are on clean up? last time I used my stew pot my daughter almost got the dishsoap to it before I screamed like a banshee and stopped her. Got a pot just like that one in your photo and a matching frying pan. Those and the oven are all I cook with.
About a year ago my wife put one of precious cast iron treasures through the dishwasher. :(

I have a couple deep black iron fry pans, way older than me.  Cause my gramma used 'em, and she had 'em since who knows.  She was born in 1898, so the pans would be about ninety, I guess.

You can wash 'em with soap.  You could probly wash em with toxic waste, and it'd slosh right off.

I had one that rusted to shit, but it was a modern one.  I guess I fucked it up.

Brush them down with melted steak fat -including the handles -  pour the drips off, and stick 'em in the oven at 350 til they stop smoking.

Yeah, cast iron gets better with age, inheriting them is the best way to get them. You can reseal them in a open fire too, house gets less smokey.
I have to make some new stainless spatulas. I have had to use my hunting knife as a spatula lately because my wife swapped out the stuff I had when I was single. All the new stuff is made for women and Teflon evidentally.
