This is my old wallet chaing.

Since I'm not very much in favor of the state and I see that nationalism is part of the problem I would like to replace my chain with one of similar, albeit freer, design.

Is my current idea, but would it work? Should I just switch to alternating gold and black bands?

I lost the wallet chain long ago when I lost the earrings and bracelets etc. A couple years later I lost the wallet. I carry cash and an ID. I tried a wallet again 6 months ago, huge uncomfortable lump, I'll never go back.

I've had the same leather wallet for about 8 years now without it getting stolen, and I've never had a chain on it. Seems kinda pointless. If it IS a sketchy area then the front pocket is fine.

I've never even heard of a "wallet chain." Who uses these things? Believe me, you'll only lose your wallet once. After that, your memory will get really good!

I use a wallet chain to protect against pick pockets and sometimes my wallet falls out of my pants so it won't be going anywhere when its on a chain, or I can just take if off and use it to hit people :D

Yup me too. I had one for a while but it was annoying. It disappeared and I have no idea where it went. Still have the wallet I used with it though.... Irony.

I wore one in my teens during the "Grunge years"...and they were quite popular amongst the grunge dudes.
If I recall correctly...one day, I bought a second chain wallet....then decided to connect the two chains together into a rather long single chain.
