What do you mean it doesn't start out bad?  I haven't read it yet, but it starts out with a lie: "GOP Heads to Porcupine Country."

This is a typical "They don't think as we do, they must be ____ " farce.  One thing you couldn't expect, even if you were a bright(er than usual) Democrat, is for the article to be objective and intelligent.

Thanks, though.  I know it will make entertaining blather.

At least some libertarian handed some socialist his ass in the comments section as judged by other Mother Jones readers.  That was fun.

I'd expect Denis to have a field day with this comment:

It's a shame that this story didn't also look at the fact that in 2012, the NH legislature intends to try to repeal NH's marriage equality law, and there are at least 2 bills that intend to force teaching creationism in our public schools. These Free Staters run as Republicans, and march in lockstep with the current NH GOP which is also comprised of Teabaggers and John Birchers.

and this

The Free Staters are a more sociopathic arm of the Republican Party, who at least used to pretend concern for the residents of our state.

The ignorance is astounding!

That's funny.  2 pro-government marriage bills passed this year.  One removed the 3 day waiting period and another reduced the fee by $5.  Of course, there was an actual libertarian marriage related bill proposed this year by FSPers.  It was to get the government out of marriage, but it failed.
