Ain't ashamed to say I got a small one!

Mine's not quite as pretty as that one, but it is stock, uncut fenders and all. Mine doesn't have the two gas caps either, instead it has one main tank and a reserve tank under each front seat.

- got the water pump back in, squeezed the heater box back up under the dash, waitin' on a shroud for the fan (didn't know those had a real function other than saving fingers, but they do), need a coupla belts and then I'll see whether or not I have any leaks.

Oh yeah.. these trucks are called "Multi-Purpose Vehicles".. the top and doors come off easily, and the windshield folds forward. Saw a pic of one carrying a telephone pole laying flat on top.

i'm a big fan of stock....never went in for the ''low-profile'' tires & wheels, or obnoxious 42'' off-roaders.....
do that with a cookie-cutter truck.
i esp love these w/ the lil' 302 factory v8.....

Since we are allowing girly station wagons, here's mine.
'86 It has a real motor though, 6 in a line- like God intended. 3.3 TDI
Straight axles and a 5 speed stick. I have owned my last automatic and IFS.

''girlie station wagons''???
nigga, i don't know what thread you meandered into, but they ain't no stinking station wagons here.
and, for the record, ''nissan'' = jap = junk
not to offend, but i take it as an affront to have jap tin lined up against old school detroit iron.
but, thats just me.
maybe

Eh I think that's a cool truck.  But it is the smallest one here.  I mean, my truck's engine is nearly double the size.  I dig the diesel though.  My 6~12 month plan is to go 6.2L turbo diesel 4L80 with my truck.  Should be good for at least 450 ft-lbs and 20+ mpg.

Those small/medium sized Jap trucks are actually pretty good for what they are though.  I wouldn't mind having one, especially with a diesel.

The best towing pickup ever built, A 3/4 Dodge pickup frame and body with a Cummings TDI, only had 5 liters. Quality and engineering is most important when getting a job done.
Not size.
At least that's what my wife tells me.

Dragline, if all U.S. makes were not fucked up by the Union labor and bail out money I might agree with you.
Most of the vehicles I own for any length of time are built in Norway over time anyway.

I had some FIRE under there today.. bad news!

No idea.. maybe you guys can hep meh..

This afternoon I got all the hoses & belts & wires & everything else all reconnected. Filled the radiator up with water, was set to run it to get the engine temp up so the thermostat would open. Went to start it and got nothin, no noise, nothing but the key turning. Checked the battery, battery was just fine. Left everything alone for just a few minutes to go have a ciggy, called my Pops for some ideas & he was stumped. Was set to give up for the day, but luckily I went back out to look one more time & that's when I saw a wisp of smoke coming up near the battery. A wire on the solenoid flamed and burned through before I could get the battery disconnected. Nothing else caught fire and I was able to just blow the fire out.

Shiyit.

It's possible it was just a bad solenoid.  Also get the multimeter out and check to make sure your voltage regulators working right.  Have you blown out any bulbs or fuses recently?

My KTM was popping bulbs, no flames, just burning out bulbs super fast.  Bad voltage regulator.  Only time I've had fire come from an engine was through the intake side of a carburetor...  Although one time I did have a brand new hard drive shoot flames 6" out of the side of my computer when I installed it.  POS Maxtor drives...

Weeell.. to be honest, it needs a whole new wiring harness. There are burnt & bare wires here & there... I had been hoping to delay redoing all that stuff. So I reckon it was just a matter of time.

Still though, can't figure out why it wouldn't crank after redoing the cooling system..
