Well according to his last post, he wants you to die. Clearly this person wants to have an intelligent and meaningful conversation, and you should spend a whole lot of time talking to him. Hours and hours.

For the sake of this "discussion" that I'm a little embarrassed to admit I've read, if the person who started this would wish that Mark be doing anything other then what he is doing, it would seem illogical to me.  Neither of us know, nor do I care, what Mark has done in the past, but we do know that he helps more people today then just about all the rest of us combined.

If you're looking to bash Mark for something, you don't need to make leaps of faith, and speculate wildly... just call him out on the whole "anarcho-hustler" thing.

Mark's story proves a point I have long held about criminals.  Those that are a danger to others should be separated from society until they no longer pose a risk to others, and should be rehabilitated (not just isolated).  Anyone else should be free.  For example a guy who kills his wife in a jealous rage is unlikely to go and murder you or I, and therefore if he poses no threat to the general public, I don't agree with locking him up in a cell.  A prison should be a place only for those who are unable to contribute anything productive to society, and at the same time pose no risk to the public.  Mark has shown that even if you do a really bad thing, even the most "unforgivable" thing, you can still go on and do good things with your life.  How many other of our prisoners are prevented from being productive, successful individuals?
