TG that was a joke link wasn't it?

I have a link to the origins of Manwich and why it might be called Manwich.

Really the origins of Manwich have to do with some canniablism.  Oh alright I will prephrase the story.  It seems this owner of a dinner named Joe, he caught his wife in bed with his best friend.  He killed them both in a fit of rage.  He then ground up their bodies cooked them with a secret sauce.  And fed the sandwichs to the families at his dinner as he told them that the pair had run away together.  One of the relatives got messy with the sandwich and was reported to say, "this is really sloppy joe."  The story was a death bed confession of the dinner owner.  When Hunts started producing the sauce the story was known so they decided to call their sauce Manwich, short for human sandwich sauce.  Ok, it might be a myth but you will have to decide for yourself if you view the link.

... yeah.  It couldn't possibly have anything to do with marketing the idea of it being a sandwich for real men, manly men, macho macho men -- that would just be downright rational.   ;)
