I am too. I don't know anything about the SCAR. After reading your post, I just learned that there is a 7.62x51 version of the SCAR, so thanks for mentioning it.
The Massoud is 7.62x51. If it's like the Masada/ACR, it will be light, ambidextrous, have a floating barrel, and be adaptable & easily broken down. Like the SCAR, apparently, it also has the rails, folding/adjustable stock, and cheek weld.
The extent of my knowledge about rifles has come from discussions here, and Boston's Gun Bible. As you might imagine if you're familiar with either, I'm interested in 7.62x51, and I wonder how these "new" rifles compare to the M14, & FAL.
