I remember Mark mentioning that he had lost weight through some pill (that were advertising on the show).. where can I get hold of them?

Weight loss pills aren't very effective unless illegal or prescribed.... I don't know what weight loss pill he was advertising but most of those things are just thermogenic crap or just vitamins that ur overpaying for.

It was DEX C20 and it sure did work for me. They claimed to have done clinicals for it.

They did indeed to those trials, at some of India's better medical research universities. You can read them for yourself, they are listed on the site and can be Googled. Don't laugh, India's standard of medical care is very high, a lot of research science gets farmed out to them.

 There is no such thing as loosing weight through pills. The best way its exercising, or being mentally very active. If you look at those people who look skinny, most of them don't even exercise but their secret is that they use a lot of mental energy ( working hard) on different business ideas, projects, e.t.c.

well i've been all done with them a while ago but I just had a co-pay through my insurance. wasn't all that expensive.

Interesting.  I took Meridia for a while, and the patent hasn't expired on it - therefore no generic.  Also, my insurance doesn't cover it.  It was $130+ per bottle for a 30 day supply, which was 30 pills.  Needless to say that didn't last long.  I had a talk with my doctor, and she agreed that with what little effect it has, for the price it's just not a good trade-off.  I was the one who wanted to try it, after all.  She left it up to me.

Exercise alone won't make you lose weight. It might even cause your weight to increase, since a good workout increased appetite. What does work it being very careful to USE UP more calories than you TAKE IN.

This is not so simple as it seems.

I've lately started wondering if anyone has looked into the effects of air conditioning on weight gain. The increase in American weight seems to correspond with the rise of A/C. The body is adapted to take in more calories with the onset of cooler weather, and to eat less in hot weather. But with A/C we're in perpetual cool weather now. It's like we're forever in autumn, and our bodies are saying, "Winter's a-coming. Better pack it on!"
