Liberty Literature (any ideas?)
« on: January 02, 2006, 09:51:41 PM »

I'm relatively new to Free Talk Live and this board, so excuse me if this has been asked before.  But I'm looking for something like pamphlets to hand out to people.  I have this friend that is a born again Christian and she leaves a little booklet (about finding Jesus) on the table of every restraunt that we go to.  How great would that be if we had those?

The only problem I can find is that the material would have to be different depending on the targeted audience.  As nice as it would be to have a general pamphlet, several differnet ones would be needed.  "make government smaller" isn't going to interest many people right away.  Pro- sidearms and pro- choice aren't going to do much better if people have a preconcived notion of those things.

So, I'm just throwing this out there. What does everyone else think?

The Advocates for Self-Government have a little tip-card. Search on the store.

"This is not a tip. This is a gift. <insert liberty propaganda here>"

They also have books for sale.

Healing our World is a good one.

Yeah I've read HoW (coincidence?) and it is a great easy to read/accept primer. I gave it to my formerly somewhat-statist girlfriend and now she is pretty libertarian. Not as much as me, but she's open to things now which is good ;)
