Liberty Beer.
« on: October 29, 2010, 12:52:06 AM »

The recent open carry civil disobedience demonstration gave me an idea. If your beer is closed they need a search warrant to test the liquid so the answer is to ensure you dont lose the beer cap.

A manufacturer of liberty beer would attach the beer cap to the bottle in such a way that it wont fall off or use those plastic pop-top lids you get on water bottles so each time you take a sip you can close the lid. I would call it the Jardis freedom beer and the lid is the anarcho-cap lol

Trust an Aussie to come up with this idea lol

I absolutely hate those lids on sporty water bottles.  I'd rather see something where you pull the cap downwards on both sides and it splits open easily with one hand and then springs back shut when you release it or something.

That isnt a bad idea either . Some sort of flexible hinge on one side would  also work well.

What's wrong with Grolsch-style bottles?  They should be readily available from somebody.  Do they count as "capped" according to the grandiloquent magic scrolls of the state?

They would probably just change the law to say "unopened".
