Anarcho-capitalists are libertarians who oppose the state entirely and propose to have a free market in the provision of security and arbitration. The term anarcho-capitalism derives from Murray Rothbard to describe a stateless society based on the principles of laissez-faire or the philosophy in support of such a proposition. Anarcho-capitalists may tend to still associate more with the political right and make use of the political process, unless they are agorists or left-libertarians at the same time.

As quizes go, I prefer the Mises Institute's "Are You An Austrian?"

I saw a facebook post from Judge Andrew Napolitano that he'd be on Glenn Beck's show today. I thought that meant he'd be hosting, which is one time I always like to watch the show... but, oh dear. It's Glenn Beck. He's doing a show where he has his audience taking a quiz to find where they are on the Libertarian spectrum.

I'm watching, but only because Napolitano was introduced just before I reached for the remote.

Kind of interesting interpretation of libertarianism--that ends by telling you what collectives you belong to. (?)

I also strongly disagree with the notion of "left" libertarian as something that even exists (or it's poorly named.)  Since left- and right-wing are associated with how you'd like to use the government against your enemies, it doesn't have much to do with libertarianism in my mind.  Put another way, and in another context, if you're libertarian, you're radically centrist.

It dates back to old British politicking when Libertarianism was at the time considered the radical left of British politics, believing in extremist views such as individualism, personal ownership and trade, and the dissolution of the monarchy and monolithic state functions. Adam Smith is often accredited as being a major influencing factor in these ideals.

Actually, it dates back to French Parliament, in which the rabble-rouser socialists sat up in the far left wing of amphitheater type seating.  That's literally where the term came from.  Note its roots in populist government--my reason for disliking left- or right-wing being associated with libertarianism.

Really kind of poorly set up quiz-too many questions that simply can't be answered yes or no. And, to be honest not enough categories(as if they are needed anyway as someone else mentioned.) I am, for instance, most certainly not an anarcho-capitalist. Ah well.
