I've been watching the fuck out of Lexx on Netflix. Anybody seen this show?
It's one of those series you don't realize is pretty good until you see quite a bit of it. Like Doctor Who.

Saw The Town today. First good movie Afflect has made.

Boiler Room was quite good.

I also enjoyed Reindeer Games, but that was not exactly masterpiece theater.

Just saw "In The Loop", which is a BBC comedy production.

It was pretty damn funny.

Full Metal Jacket and Platoon

...along with Casualties of War, these are my "favorite*" war movies...

"This Film Is Not Yet Rated" -- documentary about the MPAA that was quite good, made me quite angry

"Believe: The Eddie Izzard Story" -- documentary about Eddie Izzard that made me impressed by how much fucking work it is to be Eddie Izzard

I agreed to watch "You've Got Mail" with my wife this past Sunday;  I realized that, more than any other movie from the decade, this one encapsulates, for me, the essence of life in the 1990's.

The Book of Eli.

It was above average, nothing to scream about. Kind of reminded me of the atmosphere of that old C64 game Wasteland.

Frozen, proof that it's possible to make a damn good horror film with nothing supernatural in it.

The Expendables.

It was fun, predictable, and a high body count.

What I REALLY want to see is True Grit.  That looks fuckin' great.
