The star wars holiday special + Rifftrax.

It almost makes it watchable.

Avatar was great. Worth seeing in 3D.

Eh, the 3D is shiney and the storyboards and CGI were well done. Pity about the story, if I can tell you what's going to happen next, scene by scene, I think it may be a little cliché.

If you have seen Pocahontas (by Disney) then you can predict the entire movie, as soon as you learn who the main character is. Even the living tree is the same.

I may have to look into that Moon movie.

Last night, we watched Crumb, about the eccentric artist who practically reinvented cartooning with his ground-breaking Fritz the Cat. We almost didn't watch it. "Did you order this? I didn't." But, I'm glad we did. Outstanding movie. What a very odd genius.

It was easy to see where the story was going from the very beginning, but it was still a lot of fun getting there.
And so very beautiful in the 3d.

Me, three. It was on one evening while I was working late, and progressed from video wallpaper to grab-a-snack-and-have-a-seat.

Choke.  Very funny black comedy by the writer of Fight Club.  The premise is a sort of deadbeat guy who works as a historical re-enactor and pretends to choke on food at restaurants and have people "save" him so they develop a bond.  He is also a sex addict.  I love this thread, and have put Crumb in my queue now.

I went to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie last night.  Unfortunately, it was not as good as I expected.  I would wait until it's out on TV...it's really not worth paying to see, IMO.

I finally convinced the wife to watch Avalon last night. She actually kinda liked it :)

She liked the fact that the protagonist was female; I have to say I liked the fact that it was a hot female ;)

Flicker

Not so good. If it had been more focused on either the flicker machine or it's creator Brion Gysin, instead of being partially focused on both, then it would have been pretty neat.
