I think you may want to avoid Hostel 2.

I probably will, but not because the girls are getting tortured.  After all, it was the boys being tortured in Hostel 1, so it seems like fair play.  Still, not a big o' the rape scenes.  I can watch somebody getting disemboweled or parts of their body sliced off, but a rape scene makes me sick.  Funny, that.

Well, if the rest of the movie is good I can leave the room if necessary.

The rape scene in Driving Miss Daisy was pretty good.

You mean to say that the rape scene in A Clockwork Orange didn't turn you on?

I don't know whats wrong with you girl, but if you also didn't like The Seven Samurai, I have little hope for humanity.

Lets further discuss Rillions opinions of rape, right here in the movie thread.

Well I don't think she likes it.

Unless it's the Circus Wagon scene in The Jerk where Steve Martin gets taken advantage of by that dominatrix type lady.

The Jerk is a masterpiece.

Severance - much funnier than the other one anyway.

The cast list on imdb is a bit spoilery, but pretty funny:

   Levente Törköly    ...    Lodge Killer
   János Oláh   ...    Flamethrower Killer
   Attila Ferencz   ...    Head-squish Killer
   Bela Kasi   ...    Headbutt Killer

You mean to say that the rape scene in A Clockwork Orange didn't turn you on?

Didn't watch it.   Yeah, yeah, I know....missing out on a good film.....American History X was good, Boys Don't Cry was good, that movie with the guy who moves into a house with the ghost of a girl who was raped and murdered in the basement was good.....but I didn't know about those scenes before seeing those movies.  Makes a difference.

We watched Ghostbusters last night, on a whim (thank you, Netfix Instant Play), and Boyfriend couldn't get over how much of a jerk Peter Venkman was.  He theorized that Bill Murray played pretty much only jerks up until Groundhog Day, and nicer people after.   When I asked why, he guessed it was because of his age.   I'm not sure if that means that as Murray got older playing a jerk seemed less attractive, or whether movie makers are less likely to cast older people as jerks.  Or maybe it's a crap theory.  I don't know, we were drinking last night.
