The Last House On The Left.

Tons of gratuitous violence and sick shit, but it has a happy ending.

Was it the new one or the old one?

I haven't seen the remake and was wondering if it was any good.
The new one.  Didn't realize there was an old one.

If you like excessive violence in your movies you'll love this one! :D  The effects for the violence were done so well (not computer animated that I could tell at all) that you will literally be cringing in your seat at witnessing it.  The scenes are done so well that you will be hating the bad guys so hard.  When it gets to the second half of the movie you'll be cheering on the good guys hoping what they do to the bad guys is worse than what they did to start it.

My girlfriend almost puked at a couple scenes, she was so upset because the movie was done so well.  But if you're not into the hardcore violence and you're not prepared to see some sick shit and truly evil acts then you're going to want to pass on it.  I'd say watch it, in the end anyone who watches this movie is going to want to get a shotgun and a pistol to keep in their house.

Yeah, previews look great.

I just have to say, don't expect a huge summer blockbuster action movie. There is a significant amount of action scenes towards the end, but I have heard some people complaining that they were expecting more. Maybe their expectations were due to the way the movie was advertised. If you want constant, over the top action go see G.I. Joe. If you want a good movie see District 9.

District 9. Not a bad film, honestly.

Ok, Thanks for the heads up. D9 still looks more appealing though. I'm checking movie times for tonight.  :)

District 9 was definitely the better movie, IMO, but its a lot more than just an action movie. I think everyone should see it.
