The Hangover

A coupla hours of smiling interspersed with half dozen moments of death from asphyxiation laughter.

The teen & dad saw it Thurs. night. That was pretty close to their assessment of the movie.
I look forward to laughing my ass off when it's available OnDemand.

I finished watching Baron of Arizona... 1950 w/ Vincent Price.

Caught it on Turner Classic Movies a few weeks ago, and watched a few minutes on a whim. Ended up being completely caught up in the story. Have been trying to find the time to watch the rest, and finally did. Is a very interesting tale, especially since it's true. Movie was very well done, too.

watched a movie called "In Bruges" last night.

about a couple of professional hitmen hiding out in a historic Belgian town for a few weeks.  The fat one was ordered to kill the young one due to a botched hit on a priest that resulted in a child becoming colatteral damage.  Fat one can't go through with it; hit-man boss has to fly to Belgium to TCOB himself with ironic results.

Mighty Joe Young. The original. It was quite the classic.

I agree about The Hangover, it was epic.

Alien Trespass, it was like a modern version of a 50's sci fi flick.  Borrowed heavily from a number of 50's sci fi movies.  I enjoyed it.

Right next to me is Road to Perdition, Planet of the Apes (1968) and Pans Labyrinth.  Girlfriend gets to pick. I've seen part of Road to Perdition on t.v. once (I think), Planet of the Apes is a classic that gave me nightmares as a kid (scary 'ol apes/others), and Pans Labyrinth is from Guillermo del Toro (which is also a great movie). I'm watching Seinfeld right now.

I've been watching "Curb your enthusiasm" on and off lately, I'm starting to relate to that guy.

The more I watch, the more addicted I am. Flawed characters nagging at each other about life's unimportant details. Its like they could be anyone.

I like other shows, but this is one to fall back on. No episode is "awesome" like say those of Breaking Bad or The Office, but they are all seemingly decent and good comedy.

Damn you! I was planning to go to bed early (resetting sleep schedule for school year), but now I have to see if I can find my top secret DVD stash.
Must. Watch. When I can't drag myself out of bed for an early morning run... I'm blaming you.

Knowing with Nicolas Cage. Great movie. I only would have changed the ending a little bit.
