Watching "Cemetary Man" right now.....Boyfriend said it was good.  I'm seriously questioning Boyfriend's taste.

I wouldn't call it "Good". Maybe entertaining though.

Singing too... though NPH really surprised me with his voice.  It was outstanding.

Also I just saw Dr. Horrible again, with my mom; she liked it very much.

I watched it once by myself, once with a friend (who loved it), and once with a girlfriend who didn't think too highly of it.  She has no sense of humour.

Kind of a movie - I watched the 2 hour opener for HBO's new series The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency last night.
Liked it.

Troll (Not bad, stands up to the test of time.)

Troll 2 (Never seen before, just about the worst movie I've ever seen, including Manos and The Incredibly Strange Creatures That Stopped Living and Became Mixed Up Zombies.)

UHF - Always fun.

After watching Cemetery Man I asked Boyfriend if there was ever a horror movie, or pseudo-horror movie, in which people acted intelligently.  He said no, because intelligent people would always get the fuck away from whatever the scary thing was and then there would be no movie.

True?  Or is there a horror movie out there in which people don't idiotically put themselves directly in harm's way, over and over again?

Well, Evil dead 2 had a fantastic scene early on where the shit hits the fan, and Ash looks up, they cut to his car, and then smash cut to him driving madly away from the evil cabin. Was hilarious.

Of course, it didn't work out...

Then again, Evil Dead 2 is a crowning achievement of awesome in dozens of ways, and one of the best, funniest, most horrifying horror movies ever.

Oh man, I've seen that.....but it was many, many years ago.  The one where he cuts his girlfriend's head off, and then later his own hand?   I think we have it on DVD; will have to check.
