I watched the documentary about the word FUCK.

Very entertaining... as it is my favorite curse word.

Not a big fan of it myself. That is, while I enjoy doing it (and do it as often as possible), I don't actually like to use the word. However, it does not bother me. It just wears better in some people's vocabulary than it does in others.

Boyfriend and I talked last night and realized that it's been forever since either of us watched the Star Wars movies-- the original trilogy, not the prequels, which I will never watch again if I can help it.  So this Saturday I am moving back to Dallas for good, and we will watch them.  Maybe not that night, as I tend to show up exhausted, but maybe Sunday.

The Wrestler.

It was a really good movie, kinda a downer, but good.

I went into the movie not knowing that Marissa Tomei was in it... and boy was she in it!

Yes, multiple scenes. Full frontal, sidal, rear, up, down, and lap dance.

No Country for Old Men.

Not exactly uplifting.  Although it was interesting and well made.

Ha, I went to see that with some friends with plans to go for beers afterward.  We came out of the theater with these glass-eyed looks on our faces.  "Umm, yeah.  Well, umm...so where are we going?"

So, not a good choice for a "date night" movie?

I guess it depends on what kind of date you want to have.  For me, a good date movie is any movie that is interesting and provokes discussion without making you feel generally depressed, and doesn't stir you up about an issue on which you and your date disagree so you spend the rest of the night arguing.   We did  have an interesting discussion at the bar afterward about how feasible it would be to out-swim an attack dog down a river....

That movie has one of the best villains I have seen. The guy is creepy.

Well, he certainly got me worked up.  I spent a good long time after seeing the movie wishing I could sit him down (in an atmosphere where he couldn't kill me, that is) and explain to him how much of a moron he was.  "How often do you flip a coin to decide whether you  should die?  Never?  Yeah, that's what I thought."
