Goblins? What the hell are you talking about? The movie was about a coven of evil witches.

Goblin is a prog rock band.

The music for the film was done by Goblin.

Many of Argento's movies were scored by Goblin. They're pals.

That clears up the confusion then. I thought the use of the music was the best part of the movie.

Thanks Shaw.  Definitely check them out if you liked the movie score.  I think Suspiria was some of their best work.

Just got done watching Prestige on Blu-Ray.  Pretty decent flick.

Going to start Heroes Season 2 on Blu-Ray now.

Yeah, I didn't like it near as much as the first one.  I don't cable so I haven't been watching the last season.  I need to bittorrent them...

I went and saw Role Models with my family because we were all bored.  It was a pretty awful movie.

Lies!

I thought it was pretty good. Maybe because you saw it with the family. I could see some awkward moments if you were to see that movie with the pa rentals.

I don't think that was it.  The nudity was one of its redeeming values, but there wasn't enough to save it (of course, then it would have just been a porno :)).  I think the main problem I had was that they relied so much on over-the-top language for shock value.  It was a bit much.

I gotcha, I felt the same way about Superbad.

There Will Be Blood.

I have to design a promotion package for it as my final assignment this semester.

What did you think.

I thought it was lame.

I hated the ending.

vvvveeeerrrrryyyyyy sssssssllllllooooowwwwww.

it put me to sleep.  but it was alright.  Shows a real fuckin' cynical side of human nature.

Best Movie Ever.

Last I saw was Sweeneys Todd.

If someone is looking for a good rental...

Don't be fooled by the title but, Little Miss Sunshine is a good one.

Also, the greatest movie ever.

Well, not really, but it was outstanding.  Steve Carell did great in that movie.

In the same sort of vein, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was also awesome.

I liked There Will Be Blood, but was expecting more.

Just watched a pretty good one, Nightbus 807

Quote
Based on a stabbing incident in Sweden where a young racist lost his life, the film tells the story about swedish Carl and latino Carlos. Set in the suburbs of Stockholm, the film portrays the gang fights and conflict between swedish teenagers and young immigrants.

I didn't enjoy it.  I think it was because my expectations were too high.

tropical thunder started out looking good.  it had its moments, but overall I am happy I only spent a buck and some change at the red box.

I may still burn a copy, though.

up next, hellboy 2

Twilight was just...okay. The characters were pretty one-dimensional and they fell in love way too fucking fast. I really don't understand what all these teenage girls see in the book series.

You'd be even more confused if you knew how many moms I know who are reading the book series. (I am not one of them.) It's a pulp romance novel, without the stigma of being the type of book your mom or grandmother read, with Fabio on the cover.
