Yeah, the mysterious guy from the government that was calling all the shots from way up high I think saved the kids, or the other guy that worked with sam jackson. He even thought sam took it too far at that point. Little did he know sam was right all along and there was a 4th bomb.

It's a great movie but the book was better.

The kid bothered me. For someone that has been living in Mad Max land for so long, you would think he would be less of a whiny little bitch and be able to handle stress better than he did.

I thought it was a good movie, but after all the kids dad taught him, why did he immediatly trust the dude at the end? In a deleted scene he even tried handing over his pistol to him. WTF, rule #1 was dont let go of the gun but he hands it over almost immediately!

My other thoughts were that family at the end must have been pretty prepared if they had that many shotgun shells and a working shotgun. Also, I wish they had taken the bow from the one lady who attacked them since you can reuse arrows and make new ones from scrap metal (which was everywhere).

The final thing I noticed was they kept walking by this sort of stuff http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/1559/ along with trees. They could eat the grass (insects would as well), dig up roots or eat the bark of many trees.

Started watching "Inside Job" but I got pissed that they were immediately saying that the problem was deregulation, placing that term as such a simple concept, that I turned it off.

He'd only been in Mad Max-land for a couple of years though, right?

I think he trusted the guy at the end because that guy hadn't eaten the dog he had with him, plus he'd spotted that guy's kid back in the town.. since he hadn't eaten the kid either then he figured the stranger was a good guy.

Yeah, a couple of years I figure. That should be plenty of time to get used to seeing all the heinous shit they saw in their travels though right?

At least thats how I figure it.

I liked the movie by the way. Just really depressing.

They'd been in the apocalypse world for at least 10+ years at the point of the movie. The kid for his entire life. I think that at least at first a dog would be very valuable. It can detect intruders, go on the attack, & find whatever elusive wildlife is left. Moreover, that underground bunker filled with food could easily have been found by the dog. The cellar filled with people? The dog would have gone nuts.

I dont think of the film as that depressing considering the world would eventually recover. Under the ocean there would still be wildlife, extinctions like this have happened before. Eventually the skies would clear and the plants would grow again.

Now I REALLY think that kid was weak.

I hate that kid. That kids a dick.

Cha-Ka would eat him for lunch
