I am wondering how long that will last at the new time. Broadcast tv in general sucks anymore. There are only a very small number of interesting shows left. I don't like reality shows on broadcast. If it is still on, "My Name is Earl," is just about the only good sitcom. Maybe, "Bones," is the best of the crime shows on broadcast. But cable is blowing broadcast out of the water. With shows like, "Mad Men," and "Breaking Bad."
Has anyone noticed the trend toward indoctrination types of shows on broadcast lately? Shows like, "24," "Homeland Security," "Army Wives," "The Unit," and "NCIS." It could be argued that most cop shows are indoctrination as well.
I hate that an innovative show like "Pushing Daisies," got screwed by the writer's strike before it could find and audience. Maybe some smart cable network will pick it up and run. I suppose I liked the quirky aspects and the visual originality.
