Yeah, worst flood in that area since the great depression or so.  They had to move the world championship bbq cook off in memphis away from the river.  There is a big bank near the MS river in Memphis that is like 20 or so feet high so this is a massive flood if it is above that bank.  I heard it is supposed to be worst by Wednesday and then it will get better.

BTW, your title leaves something to be desired.  I-40 goes from NC to AZ.  It certainly passes through both TN and AR.

We're bouncing between Birmingham Al and Little Rock right now, getting ready for the move, and that I40 flood is really an issue right now. On the way back to AR this afternoon, I'll probably just head down to 82, and across to Pine Bluff, then back up. Besides, I gotta check on a friend in Tuscaloosa anyway.
