I'm of the opinion that libertarians are basically "red pill takers."  It seems we live in a world where the people who aren't fellow travelers subconsciously choose to take the blue pill (cognitive dissonance about the state.)

They enjoy their steak and want to be left alone.

To be fair, I think most, if not all, of us refuse to accept some information that doesn't support our worldview.

For instance....I am pro-choice. But I do not understand how people (like Ian) can claim that a "fetus" isn't a human being. I think he said something like, "Its not a person....its cells." To me, that view just doesn't accurately describe reality. Pro-choice or pro-life, I think its safe to call an unborn person a human being.

(Man comes home from grocery shopping and his wife says, "OMG! Great news, dear! You know those cells that were growing inside my uterus last week?"

"Yes," says the husband. "Did you get any news from the doctor?"

"Well...it seems they've turned into a PERSON!"

"OH MY GOODNESS," he says. "How on earth did that happen?"

"I don't know," she replies. "The doctor was simply amazed and said in over 20 years of practice she'd never seen anything like it. She thinks it must have been magic!")

I was speaking more in terms of a fetus in its current state, without considering its future potential as a productive human being.

Damn. I thought you were on sale.

Shit, if I were, I could easily get more than a buck o' six on ebay, I think,  assuming they would let me do that.

You're gonna have to go a bit higher than that.

My soul alone would probably fetch at least 100 bucks.

You have to get an account, somehow. Through a bidding process, I think.

lol.....

An account where and with whom do I bid?

Let me be clear, I don't know a lot about computers. But how does it benefit the SR by having a website that is hard to get to? Doesn't the government have smart people that can access it anyway?

Oh, and not that anyone here is going to believe me, but I'm not even interested in ordering anything. I just bought a new house and am way too paranoid to jeopardize my current situation. I just want to see the damn thing.

Theres a series of secret red doors and you have to know the secret knock for each one before you can even access the registration desk to even sign up.

A fed could never get that far.

I hope you're not being serious about the feds not being able to access the SR. You're probably joking. The federal government spends almost $4,000,000,000,000 per year. That's a big number. Just to elaborate on how big it is............

Is you spent $1 every second of every minute of every hour of every day (which is spending money like a drunken sailor on crystal meth)...........it would take you 127,000 years to spend $4 trillion. Holy shit that is a lot of money. Plenty enough to buy off some nerds that will show the goons in the government how to pick up some dope online.

I don't think I'd take the blue pill. I've never believed ignorance is bliss. I prefer to know. Free Talk Live was my red pill. I just wish it had've happened much earlier in my life.

They enjoy their steak, and they think I should have to eat it too.
