On the most depressing days, yes.

I occasionally wonder how it would feel to unlearn what I know about the world.

Then I realize how much great stuff I have as a result of thinking the way I do and knowing what I know and it goes away.

I discussed this somewhere but I can't recall where. It might have been a blog post on Anarchy In Your Head.

TL;DR version: No. I think I always FELT something was horribly wrong and just couldn't say what until I "took the red pill". It seems like doing something, anything, about it helps. Just knowing what the source of your anxiety is and acting on it in some way is therapeutic. I don't think ignorance would help.

Sorry bro. I'm afraid you're stuck with the gay, which is the permanent side effect of getting acid reflux. I had it backwards in that last post. The purple pill can cure your acid reflux though.

They might have surgery for the gay though, I dont know.






* Not all sufferers of acid reflux catch the gay, but all gay have acid reflux at some point, which caused teh gay.

I take a lot of blue pills. An aleve (or 3) a day keeps the knee replacement away.

I'm of the opinion that libertarians are basically "red pill takers."  It seems we live in a world where the people who aren't fellow travelers subconsciously choose to take the blue pill (cognitive dissonance about the state.)
