Do you really think people believe that lie?  It seems like a story about atrocious police brutality and misconduct breaks on a monthly basis and the public is supposed to believe that there are only a few bad apples that are tarnishing the name of the 'upstanding community members' that make up the police force?  How many people do you know that has a cop horror story?  How many people do you know who was pulled over for rolling a stop light in an obviously clear intersection, going 5 miles over the speed limit, profiled for being a guy with too long of hair, driving with out of state plates, being a minority?  How many people feel that adrenaline rush when a cop pulls into the lane behind them and you let up on the gas even if you were going the speed limit? Had a party broken up after 9 o'clock?  All evidence points at an oppressive relationship but everyone is in denial.
