Ive been waiting for this game for months. The demo is pretty cool but doesnt really give the full scope of what you can do in the game.

I'm looking forward to toppling oppressive governments by destroying the murderously funded infrastructure. Oh, and Just Cause 2 looks like fun as well.

Just Cause 1 was pretty good.  I'm downloading the PC Demo for JC2 right now.  I bet it'll be fun.

Update - Apparently the whole game is based on the idea of destroying the evil government of an island nation by causing "Chaos", which is points given for destroying government property in hundreds of different ways.

Sold.

Reminds me of the GTAIII biker mission where you have to cause havoc to put it to The Man before the bikers will trust you. So you go pull a Tom Alciere on some VCPD cars. Good times!

There are demos for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Ignore the awful voice acting in the cutscenes and have fun blowing stuff up. The grappling hook is pretty damned fun, too.

The demo area's pretty huge, too. When the timer runs out, you get a preview video that puts the actual size of the whole game into perspective. It's going to be a blast.

So, you can pretty much fly forever with a handy combination of the grapple while in the chute.

From pretty much anywhere, say, by shooting the grapple in front of you and slinging forward, you pop the parachute, push "S" (or back or whatever) to draw your legs up and gain a little lift, and right afterward, shoot the grapple at the ground again, followed by pulling legs back again. Repeat and you can maintain altitude at just about the length of the grapple, and if you aim it right, that height plus the height of the local trees, if you can hit them regularly. I actually scaled the mountain up to the casino and then scaled the casino itself.

Vehicles aren't exactly hard to come by, but if you don't want to backtrack to get a helicopter/plane, it sure beats driving a car. Seems faster and you're not limited by landscape.

This game is frigging awesome.
