And both do not have enough ass fat or facial hair to be libertylover.

Sorry! One of them might be Fisher.  But you would need a CAT scan to see the amount of fat in his head a picture just wouldn't do.  However, his posts tend verify this fact.

[sighs]  That sign is redundant.  Lesbians are homosexuals.  Shriners are Masons.  Catholics are Satanists.  I mean, come on.

Dude what's your problem, Cortaigne? I'm agnostic now, but I was raised Catholic, and I still have to 'give them props' here and there as it were. I don't get up on your religion or lack thereof, so why do you have to pick on the rest of us? Dang... :(

not all christians are like that. in fact, i would say they are not truly christians, true christians accept everyone even if they don't agree with their ethics.

I don't know, that's how my boyfriend told me to pose when he took that picture.  I just do what he tells me.

Fine.  Tell me the point of Deism.

It seems like the biggest cop out ever.  "Oh yes, there's a God, he made the world, but now he's on vacation in some other universe sipping on martinis."  In a deist world, God is neither sufficient or nessecary- he fails Occam's Razor.

So why believe in God at all?

You don't have to believe in God to be a Deist.  I believe that something created the world.  That something is currently taking a less active run in the world than it used to.  I am a Deist.  You can call that something God, the Creator, Krishna, Jesus, Allah, Big Baby Jesus, Torgo, or the Force.  I could care less, but I believe in it and its power.

We were created and now we are to look after ourself, that is my belief.

If this "something" is not required to be supernatural wouldn't that make the concept of deism mundane, in the sense that everyone, from a bible thumper to to an atheist believes we came from somewhere?

As the state feeds off of the limitation and destruction of legitimate government, anarchy is its essence.

To claim "economic rent" from someone Else's labor when applied to land, which is something no one can own outright, is in itself, to claim landlord status over raw nature. It is an attempt at coercive monopoly power that is at the root of statism.

For the record I have tried and tried to figure all of this out before and came up with a complete answer. A lot of theologians would probably disagree. whatever.

My God is one of Love, peace and freedom. He will always love me no matter what, and he is always with me. It's a spiritual experience that is between God and me. To make it short and sweet.....the news sisters and brothers is that we can have the freedom to believe or not and still God will be there no matter what.

This would mean that yes he loves us all no matter what we believe, think, feel or say about him. and isn't that not what church's today and Christians say today....they say the complete opposite !

If there is a definition of God it would be LOVE.

rearrange you mind about what you were taught and see it through different eyes.....what the mainstream church is telling you is that if you don't have money we don't want you....and if you don't wear the right clothes and work at the right places and think the exact way that the rest of our church goers think then your not welcome. that is all BS.....God would never do that to anyone.....why he would eat dinner with tax collectors (modern day drug addicts), prostitutes, and the lepers (modern day homeless)
