Um, I told him, like, a dozen times "Please stop talking to me." and "Leave me alone" and "Are you gonna bust my fucking balls the whole week? Cause I can leave." and he kept up his shit. Offered food to people and passed me by and said "I know YOU want some, amirite LOL" and shit. I got so pissed I went and took a nap in the car more than once.

The dude was a fucking prick. It wasn't a misunderstanding. You be nice to me, I be nice to you. I'm not that hard to get along with.

He doesn't run the website.  He helps with it but is the head mod on the forum, I think (although he doesn't do much actual modding).

Maybe that was the case where some people where at his GF's site and she wanted them to leave.  I remember there was a little drama about that.  Anyway, sometimes there is some drama at Porcfest.  Sorry it happened to you.  I like your idea of staying away from him, that should help.

No. It was from day one. That was day two or three, and I wasn't the guy getting yelled at, although I was there and immediately apologized and left after the "This isn't a public place, you know... we paid for this spot." speech. That was all AFTER I hung out with that same crowd and was welcomed to hang and chat, btw.

It started when he, Jason, and I went to go pick up a keg for everyone. He busted my balls and only stopped when I left and other people bitched at him. Then he started again the next day and never quit when he had the chance. I would then walk away.

Please stop searching for fucking excuses for other people's bad behavior, man. The dude was an asshole. The only misunderstanding was that he thought I'd be his fucking buttboy doormat for the week.

I do have to express my surprise that that dude was an actual FSP, board guy. I have my beef with the FSP and some of their attitude, but I would have NEVER guessed that they'd have an abusive prick like that dude around. Ever.

I feel ya, and maybe I'll reconsider when there are 100,000+ Free Stater/Liberty types in NH, as the pop of that state is around 1 million.

I completely agree with everyone you said, Shaw.  I feel the same way.  I don't think that makes us less liberty-minded than people who have moved with the FSP.  It's a practicality issue.  And from time to time, a not getting arrested for attention issue.

Just a reminder that you don't have to be arrested to be a free stater--and frankly, you don't have to be a free stater to move--and while we're at it, if you're a free stater, you don't have to identify as one once you're there.  I figure I'll probably be arrested a few more times in my life anyway, and I may as well be somewhere people give a crap if the arrest is for "contempt of cop" (which it generally is.)

Congrats on your decision, John.  Uncertainty about anything tends to reduce one's quality of life IMHO so I'm guessing you feel better today than you did yesterday.
