I've done nothing. I expressed my displeasure and my intent to minimize my interactions as a result. I haven't "Done" anything. If he does something vile enough to breach the BBS TOS, he's gone again. You really have to try, to do that. He will. I fucking guarantee it.

I wouldn't mind if it got deleted now. He obviously just proved he doesn't care about it enough not to let someone who threatens to initiate force reside on it.

I'm halfway there. I half believe that this is Ian punishing the mods for not living in NH.

Thank God you mods don't live in NH, then it really would be a clique. I remember being on this BBS back in 2006/2007, it seemed more lively then, now it seems quiet, like a ghost town. I can hear the wind whistling through the trees, or maybe it's just blowing through my empty head. Maybe Alex will liven things up, or more likely, go off the deep end, again. I've often wondered if the level of spit and venom displayed on this BBS sometimes has sent potential converts/newcomers running for the exit. Not that I want to pussify anything but I can see some people coming here and going "Jesus Christ, what the fuck?!" Especially if someone is having a rant, you'd think this was 4chan or something.

I really wish I had the time to devote to my "troll meter" idea.  What you just said is a good point.  However, ignoring trolls is another way to scare off visitors though because they can take over a message forum like a flesh-eating bacteria and totally change the intended atmosphere.  They are a real problem that has to be dealt with if you want a forum to fulfill its intended purpose.
