Title: I'm never moving to New Hampshire
Post by: Ecolitan on October 20, 2011, 03:17:58 PM
The homeschooling laws are better here by far.  Trillian and I have a plan for free market education.  I'm excited about it.

And...  People are fucking evil.  Good people are so hard to find.  "regular" people are willing to do terrible things and expect the same of other "regular" people.  I will never understand and never cease to be shocked by it.  I have a small number of good people in my life right now.  I've had to excise a whole lot of fucking assholes to get there.  I'm done with moving on only to find myself surrounded by a whole new set of evil ass motherfuckers.

I used to expect more from freedom lovers.  Turns out not initiating force is only sufficient to make you not a physical danger to people and that's a start, but libertarians are no more likely to be someone you actually trust and want in your life than the next guy.

I can have someone help me move and smile a lot only to deceive, manipulate and ridicule me anywhere I want.

Make a clique, join a clique, be a loner - or get lucky and fall in with some truly like minded people.

I'm lucky enough to have fallen in with like minded folks. Too bad most of them are scattered across the globe.

NH is hell.  Keene is the worst.  Please, please people, stay the F away.  We don't want you.  We hate people like you.  If you come to NH, your life will be over.  Oh, the hell never ends.  The fire, the fire, please make it stop!!!

Too cold.

I'd like to visit someday.  Maybe.  If I could sneak in, and sneak out.

But I don't think I'd like to live in a state where they don't have electricity or flush toilets.

Sure they do - in the houses Massholes built.

If the Grand Canyon was there, I'd go.

I'm still not sure if I ever leave my own home state, unless it is for a better job. I think what matters more is not trying to change the world, but changing yourself. I know that sounds like I'm giving up, but it's not. I'm all for attempting to make a mark on the mind of everyone around you. I just think there are better ways than being in one large circle jerk. Incestuous societies (not literal) are not the way to go, they only help if the world around you is drastically getting worse (and I don't see that happening even with the economic turmoil).

I'll be moving. Hopefully within the next 3 years? My woman graduates college in a year, then it is only saving up and all the other little details.

Nice, thanks.  Maybe I'll take you up on that one of these fine days.

I really would like the grand tour by a person I can tolerate.

How far are you from the Mass state line?

edit - Nevermind, found it.  Hmm.
