Yeah - I feel so warm and fuzzy now.  It's heartwarming how Mel Gibson orchestrates damage control with a formerly industry-toxic addict in recovery who owes him bigtime.  I look forward to the same support from Howard Stern, who doesn't owe him shit.

I was always sort of curious how one of the most successful movie moguls of all time can have such deep feelings of hatred for half his peers.

I supposed after a few minutes of who-cares consideration, he must have made similar comments privately, and it became known around the "underground", and he got shut down in a lot of pitch meetings.  Which is why he had to start bankrolling his own productions.

I like brook's movies.  Brasky, you seem to share one of his most notable traits.   You both have confidence out the ass.  Its something I always envied.
Gibson's flicks not Brooks but I like Mel Brooks' shit too.

Who is Brook?

I have confidence in myself because I know what I'm good at, and what I believe in.  Plus, I don't really care about failing at anything.

Its better to try and fail, than not try and wonder if you'd have succeeded.

Pretty much this.  I do love Gibson's movies, but the guy is a douche, and has expressed that he hates me and people like me publicly.

It is interesting to see the faces of the people there, I'll just note them and move on.
