Homeland Stupidity has been nominated for an award in the 2006 Weblog Awards. Vote for Homeland Stupidity today!

Apparently one of my faithful readers nominated Homeland Stupidity, because I certainly didn't. Thank you, whoever you are!

This is the fourth year for the Weblog Awards, which let people vote for the best blogs at the end of each year. This year there are 45 categories of blogs to vote for.

Homeland Stupidity is a nominee in the Best Centrist Blog category. I of course have a minor quibble about the term centrist, since this is a libertarian blog, but since Homeland Stupidity wasn't in the running at all last year, I won't complain too much.

I checked their FAQ and they clearly say they have lists of anonymous proxy servers and the like, and filter them out. So you wouldn't even see the voting form.

Which reminds me, it's a new day, so vote again for Homeland Stupidity! Come on people, I'm falling behind!

I voted.  I like your page, I've read it numerous times.  Those guys must have some serious linkage.

Although Homeland Stupidity may not win, there is hope.  Another blog by a Free State Project member was also nominted for a Weblog Award.  It is currently in 2nd place and the polls will close in a couple days.  A pro-freedom blog may still win a Weblog Award.

The blog is mAss Backwards.  It is about how things are so terrible in MA.  A couple weeks ago, the owner of the blog moved to New Hampshire as part of the FSP and will be retiring the blog at the end of the year and then starting a new one about New Hampshire.  Although I am unable to move to NH right now, I feel it is important to show my support for someone that just did and will be blogging about it.  BTW, they were even able to keep their job in MA.  Please help me in supporting this fella.
