Listened to the whole thing now, and I'm not convinced.
His "First reason" is that since they had the gold standard way back when, they could set the price, and now they don't set the exchange rate between gold and currency, which means you can demand arbitrary amounts for any gold you own.
His second reason is the declaration of independence. Hahah. No further explanation needed.
He also says it would be right for you to defend yourself if anyone tried to take it. I don't think he's ever attempted to do this, and has no idea about the feasibility of it. The justice is irrelevant, because the government doesn't care about justice. It requires feasibility.
He also reads a quote he claims is from a supreme court justice, but doesn't give their name, doesn't give the case they said that on, and doesn't even say that they said that while serving on the supreme court, so I'm not convinced it's anything other than a conveniently stated opinion.
If you haven't listened to it, don't waste your time, not worth it.
